Iggy was created to enable Data Scientists to build better ML models with location data. Founded by an Ex-Airbnb data scientist (Lindsay), who saw an opportunity to transform the way that companies build innovative products using location data. Iggy provides Data Scientists easy access to incredibly rich location data and insights.

Today we are an early-stage company partnering with customers in the Real Estate Industry to refine our first data enrichment product for Data Scientists. But the possibilities from there are endless – we plan to expand to more verticals and provide more services, all built on the foundation of our incredibly rich geographic data.

We’re a seed-stage startup backed by some amazing institutional investors including First Round Capital and Amplify, an incredible micro VC Brianne Kimmel/WLV, the Airbnb Alumni Investment Syndicate AirAngels, as well as founders from Plaid, Looker, Instacart, and other high value-add investors.

About the Role

We’re hiring our first Product team member to help bring Iggy to the world. 

In this role you will help us figure out how best to bring our product to market. We don’t have everything figured out so we’re looking for someone who is experimental, comfortable with ambiguity, and loves to take on an ambitious challenge. You will be expected to bring your product expertise and knowledge to inform our broader business strategy and be passionate about our audience - data scientists and ML engineers. You will own the roadmap and product requirements and will be working with engineering to build new products. You should be comfortable and confident sharing your perspective, goals, and results with the broader company as a core team member. 

This role has an incredible opportunity for growth as it touches not only product, but also marketing and early sales/co-development with partners. 

This position is a full-time, benefits eligible position based anywhere in the United States. The salary range for this position is $120,000-180,000 annually. As a member of our team, you’ll also be eligible for employee equity.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Engage extensively with customers in order to gain first hand insight on the users and market feedback on the product
  • Work closely with the team to develop cohesive marketing strategies, lead generation strategies, and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science and design teams to develop clear and efficient product roadmaps, plans, and priorities, 
  • Lead the strategic side of product, from the development to deployment
  • Create a shared brain across larger teams to empower independent decision-making
  • Develop the collateral and sales tools that support the early selling process
  • Propose a product marketing plan and budget and then deliver against it
  • Give product demos to customers and develop relationships with key clients
  • Evangelize the product internally and externally

About You

  • 5 years of Product Management and Product Marketing Management experience
  • Experience working with early stage B2B companies 
  • High-energy self-starter who thrives in ambiguity 
  • Has superior communication skills both in verbal and in written form
  • People & Leadership skills that enable the creation of long-lasting working relationships with customers as well as facilitation of smooth collaboration and performance of functions internally
